Wool Blend Weaving and Knitting
These cone yarns are probably 10% acrylic or nylon. I have done burn tests, and it burns, and smells like wool, until the fire is out, then has a tiny bead that won’t crush, indicating it is not 100% wool. Since the yarns I sell are from a hosiery mill (they produce mostly socks), many of them do contain a small portion of man-made fibers to increase strength, durability, and add stretch. Also, Please note: The yards per pound are estimates, so include a little extra yardage for your project to be sure you have enough.
